Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Michigan

Porcupine Mountains Fall Color Trek

An overnight fall adventure tracing the ridgeline of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, from the iconic Lake of the Clouds overlook deep into old-growth hemlock groves. We stay in a cozy cabin beneath peak autumn color, follow the Big Carp River trail, and wake to mist rolling off the lake. Passenger vans handle all group travel. A relaxed pace suited to fit hikers — no technical terrain, just pure fall color and quiet wilderness.
